This qualification reflects the roles of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation.
Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to analyse and improve personal leadership style and professional competence and to lead organisational transformation and learning for strategic outcomes.
It covers leading transformational practices, cultivating collaborative practices, completing ongoing professional development and providing strategic leadership in a dynamic context.
It applies to those who use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge, in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems. They use communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and to transfer knowledge and ideas to others.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide professional leadership in improving organisational learning, and the quality of training and assessment products and services.
It also covers leading strategy formation; designing, developing and implementing an organisational learning strategy; and reviewing and improving overall organisational learning and development.
It applies to individuals working in an enterprise where learning is used to build capabilities and contribute to organisational strategies, business plans, goals and values.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to plan, implement and evaluate career development services in accordance with professional standards to facilitate well-considered career decision-making by participants.
It applies to individuals seeking to provide career development services in accordance with professional standards.
A wide range of career development programs and services may be provided in many different jurisdictions and delivery settings. Their object is to assist individuals gain the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours required to manage their life, learning and work in self-directed ways.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to establish collaborative partnerships and relationships with business and industry stakeholders.
This unit covers communicating to influence others, cultivating new and existing partnerships, establishing positive collaborative relationships, leading the establishment of a partnership program and establishing reporting mechanisms.
It applies to people who use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge, in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems. They use communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and to transfer knowledge and ideas to others.
A wide variety of assessments methods will be employed to assess student competence in each unit. These include but are not limited to:

There are no pre-requisites for students planning to undertake this course.

Graduate Certificate in Management
The Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning) has entry options based on tertiary qualifications and relevant management experience.
- Bachelor degree.
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma and two years’ management experience.
- No formal tertiary qualification but five years’ relevant management experience
Successfully completing the Graduate Certificate gives you a formal qualification and allows you direct entry into the Graduate Diploma in Management. Upon completing the Graduate Diploma in Management, you’ll qualify for direct entry to the Master of Business Administration.
Entry Requirements (Institute Specific)
- You will have successfully completed Year 10 in a Victorian secondary school or equivalent.
- Admission may be on the basis of maturity and other relevant work experience.
- Students are requested to undergo a pre-training review which includes a literacy and numeracy test.
Entry Requirements for International Students
Following are the language literacy requirements for this course:
- Having arrived at an admission decision, the English language skills (language and literacy) will be assessed. If the student has a satisfactory IELTS score of 6 or the equivalent, the applicant will be admitted to his/her chosen course.
- If an applicant cannot produce a satisfactory IELTS score, and there are doubts about English language skills to cope in an academic environment, the applicant is advised to enrol in an English (ELICOS) course at an approved provider for an appropriate duration until the student achieves an IELTS score of 6 or the equivalent.
- In a situation where the student can demonstrate that he or she can communicate in English but cannot produce any formal English qualification as described above, then the student will be required to complete an IELTS test or equivalent in Australia.
It is highly recommended that students are currently in a workplace or have access to a workplace for this course.
The Australian government publishes rules for English language proficiency for international students applying for entry to vocational training. You should establish your country’s assessment level by reading the DHA rules at www.homeaffairs.gov.au. Be aware that the rules are subject to change from time to time.
ANIBT also accepts completion of a recognised equivalent English preparation course from an accredited ELICOS provider. Admission may be approved if the language of instruction in the student’s home country is English or if English has been the language spoken in the student’s home.
Overseas students who do not provide a satisfactory score from an English test recognised by DHA will be interviewed to ascertain their language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills and must have to do an LLN test at ANIBT.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by taking into account previous training, employment experience or other life skills that directly relate to the competencies the Unit of competency is assessing.

Credit Transfer (CT)
ANIBT will provide Credit Transfer to students if they can supply a relevant Certificate or Statement of Attainment issued by another RTO under Australian Qualification Framework (AQF). Credit Transfers can be granted under the following circumstances:
Under the principles of National Recognition students are granted an automatic credit for any unit that they successfully completed at any other Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
When the unit has exactly the same code and title.
